Tomorrow at Fairyhouse, we have an absolute fire-card and three absolute stand-out monsters that are going to run the bookies absolutely ragged.
These aren’t hopefuls. These are the three horses the whole of Ireland is talking about right now. Mullins, Elliott, Townend, Kennedy, Walsh… the big guns are all locked and loaded. Here’s exactly why these three are going to dominate and why tomorrow could be the most profitable day of the entire season.
1. LOVE ME TENDER – 13:35 Fairyhouse (Grade 1 Mares Chase)
This is the queen.
Willie Mullins has been plotting this raid since last spring, and everything has gone perfectly. She demolished a field at Cork three weeks ago, jumping like a stag and quickening three lengths clear off the bend. That day, she beat Grade 1 performers, giving them weight — tomorrow she gets weight off almost everything.
Mark Walsh is back on board (he won on her twice last season) and he’s riding better than ever — ice-cool, lethal in a finish.
Soft ground, left-handed, 2m 4f — this is literally her garden.
The 5/2 is an absolute gift. She wins this walk.
2. MANGE TOUT – 12:35 Fairyhouse (Beginners Chase)
Gordon Elliott has openly said in the press this week: “He’s the best novice chaser we have outside of the very top ones.”
That’s a massive statement from the man who trains half the Cheltenham favourites!
He schooled upside-down over fences last week, pinged the last four like they weren’t there, and Jack Kennedy has chosen him over four other Elliott runners in the race. When Kennedy picks one, you sit up and take notice — he’s riding at 25%+ right now, and this horse is his idea of the good thing of the day. The step up to 2m 5f is exactly what he wants, and he’s already beaten half this field over hurdles. 7/2 is insulting. Load the cannons.
3. GOLD DANCER – 14:05 Fairyhouse (Hatton’s Grace Hurdle – Grade 1)
The king is back.
Paul Townend has been counting down the days to this. Gold Dancer comes here fresh, bouncing, and with last year’s Champion Hurdle form in the book. He beat State Man in a match race workout last week, and the Closutton whispers are that he’s better than ever at six. Willie has won this race 12 times in the last 15 years — twelve! Townend + Mullins in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse = the closest thing to a certainty in racing.
Evens? Take every penny of it. This is banker of the century material.
Fairyhouse Sunday delivers three exceptional betting opportunities, each backed by Ireland’s premier yards and jockeys. Love Me Tender (13:35) is the standout mare in the Grade 1, Mange Tout (12:35) is Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy’s clear pick among the novice chasers, and Gold Dancer (14:05) represents the Mullins/Townend combination in the Hatton’s Grace — a race they have dominated for over a decade. All three arrive in peak condition, perfectly suited to the trip and ground, and represent outstanding value at current prices. Strongest confidence all season.
